This film was quite controversial and it is easy to see why from these nude scenes… For even though Bel perfectly illustrates the typical depraved behavior of your average infidel teen, her hair style in this movie is incredibly stupid looking.

Of course in the civilized Islamic world this movie was considered to be an absolute abomination for a number of reasons. The first being that female literacy is a disgrace, so the whole concept of a girl keeping any sort of diary is offensive… However, if a teenage girl were to keep a journal of some sort then it should not be filled with her deeply depraved antics, but rather simple lists of the chores she must perform… Or short passages chronicling the numerous children she has already given to her husband.
